Star-Crossed: Part One

Summary: In Part One, Ursa takes the helm of Caduceus and takes over the fight of her father to legitimize Stellar Technology.  Some of Caduceus's opponents resort to violent measures to deter her.  Scorpio ventures out to Mars to discover more about the source of these attacks, and locate the missing stellar Ryan.  Meanwhile, Ryan starts a new life in hiding in America, attending college in New Jersey, and tries to create an appearance of normalcy.  And having been ostracized from Caduceus by Ursa's hostilities toward her, Carina and her two ghostly sisters pursue their own agenda to silence the critics of Caduceus from the Skiasphere.

Chapter One: (PDF) - Ursa awakens and meets her father after being dead for 20 years.  Carina, Vela, and Puppis infect the servers of the Trojan Communication Council to take over the broadcast signals of the reporters harassing Caduceus, and harasses them in retaliation.  Ryan attends Princeton University and meets Rosie.  Xaio throws a party for the stellars before they depart, and the party gets out of hand.

Chapter Two: (PDF) - Cygna's story is recounted.  During Xaio's funeral, Ursa orders Sage and Leo to apprehend Carina, and Carina narrowly escapes.  Cain tolerates his new companion Auriga while they wait on Mars for the shuttle to Earth.  Kandafu reads some surprises in Xaio's last will.

Chapter Three: (PDF) - Scorpio's story is recounted.  Ursa holds a large press conference and Scorpio thwarts an attempt to assassinate Ursa.  Faras tries to control Jimmy's ghosts, Pollux, in the Skiasphere.  On Earth, Ryan attends a party and Rosie attempts to out-drink him, with unhappy consequences.

Chapter Four: (PDF) - Centaur's story is recounted.  Centaur shows Ursa Caduceus's mining operations on Io, and the wonders of iostrite crystal.  Scorpio departs for Mars, after running afoul of Carina at the spaceport.

Chapter Five: (PDF) - Cain's story is recounted.  Ursa presents a plan to expand Caduceus outside of Ganymede.  Dr. Gildner volunteers to go to Earth, and volunteers Shirogawa for Luna.  Ryan, Breo, and Rosie have a study group for history.  Cain does an interview with a major network in New York City, which is interrupted when Carina's ghosts pirate the signal.

Chapter Six: (PDF) - V's story is recounted.  Scorpio arrives on Mars, and Nahr tasks him with cleaning up a mess.  Aqua is wanted by the police for casino fraud, and is hiding out with V.  V is trying to buy a night club and is apprehensive about aiding a criminal, but Aqua is an old friend.

Chapter Seven: (PDF) - Aquila's story is recounted, including a crash landing on the Martian Frontier enroute to Ganymede. Aquila and Faras fight with each other as they do security detail for Ursa and Centaur. Ryan and Rosie go on a date.

Chapter Eight: (Coming Soon) - Cecilia organizes a marketing campaign with Andy and Leo as the models. Scorpio arrives in Al-Ahmar, and Nahr tasks him with further illegal activities. Ryan contemplates many changes to his new life.
